Treasure Hunter Finds Gold; Quits Job
I have blogged about metal detecting and treasure hunting as the ultimate lost and found adventure. It is part asset recovery specialist, part archeologist, and a lot of time with nature. The type of metal detector to use is important, but as this video shows, a passion for the sport will take you places.
In this video, we follow one treasure hunter as he explores the vast Rocky Mountains for gold. You know the gold he is finding must be worth a lot since he quit his job after stumbeling upon a decent size piece. The price of a gold ounce is about $950. That could amount to a lot of cash if you found a large nugget.
Please respond with any treasure hunting stories of your own!
